Sweet Simon, pet portrait

Here is a pet portrait I did for a lady of her beautiful kitty named Simon. She wanted it to look angelic and sweet like Simon's personality. She had set a holy water wall font on the rug to decide where she wanted to hang it and Simon laid down next to it with his little toes touching the bottom. She wanted me to make a portrait of this photo. Here is the result of Sweet Simon's portrait.
The painting is 11X14 and done with colored pencils and some white gouache on canson cream colored paper.
Some color detail was lost in the scanning process.
